Happy February, Bulldogs!

Fr. Josh Johnson 🙏

Fr. Josh Johnson gave a powerful talk on the seven deadly sins, helping students recognize how sin impacts their lives and offering guidance on overcoming these struggles through God’s grace. His engaging and relatable approach left a lasting impression, inspiring students to pursue holiness with renewed commitment.

Theology of the Bodyđź«€

Theology of the Body Day provided students with a deeper understanding of God’s design for human relationships, love, and identity. Through engaging talks and discussions, they explored how to live out their faith authentically in today’s world.

Valentine’s Party 💕

The Valentine’s Party brought students together for a fun and festive evening of community and friendship. It was a great opportunity for them to relax, connect, and celebrate in a joyful atmosphere at the Newman Center.

âť—Upcoming Eventsâť—

Later this month, students will have the opportunity to attend the Upperclassmen Retreat, a time for reflection and spiritual growth. Soon after, they will begin their Lenten journey with Ash Wednesday, embracing prayer, fasting, and almsgiving as they prepare for Easter. During Spring Break, while many students take time to rest, some have chosen to serve on a mission trip to Peru with FOCUS, bringing their faith into action.

Support our ministry!

Your generosity helps us offer retreats, outreach events, daily sacraments, annual conferences and more to college students in the Duluth area. Each of these events work as a bridge to offer the Truth of the Gospel message to young adults. Thank you for making that possible!

Another way to support us is through your prayers. Here are some of our intentions we are offering for our ministry this month:

  • That students attending the Upperclassmen Retreat may encounter God in a profound way, finding renewal, clarity, and deeper faith.
  • That students may embrace Lent with open hearts, growing in faith through prayer, fasting, and almsgiving.
  • That those on the mission trip to Peru may serve with compassion, encounter Christ in those they meet, and return strengthened in their faith.
