Director Of Music Ministry – Duluth Newman
Apply to become the Director of Music Ministry at our very own Duluth Newman Center! Assist the pastor to create an atmosphere of celebration, dignity, and reverence to God through music for all liturgical services. Lead and coach the Church music program to include choir(s), vocal, instrumental and other phases/expressions of musical experience with the goal of enabling hearts to pray through music.
Serve on Mission in Thailand
Are you taking a gap year? Do you feel the Lord is calling you to take some time to live on mission in a foreign country? If so, this may be the perfect opportunity for you! There are several unique opportunities to serve as a Christian missionary and English teacher to students and children in Northern Thailand. Participants would be housed in a local orphanage in Chiang Rai Province, Thailand. Room, board, and full airfare will be covered if the participant teaches for 9 months, and room, board, and one-way airfare will be covered if the participant teaches for 6 months. Additionally, if the participant has a BA, they will be able to receive a 1 year visa and an extra $1500 per month.
Totus Tuus
Would you like to help young people develop their relationship with Jesus Christ through Mary? The Diocese of Duluth is seeking young adults to be Missionaries this summer as part of their Totus Tuus team. Teams of four young adults travel to parishes for five weeks during the summer. Each week will be at a different parish where they will put on a Catholic program for elementary students during the day and junior and senior high students in the evening. Augustine Institute: Free 4-Day Seminar on St. Augustine
This free 4 day summer seminar opportunity is open to rising college seniors. It will be based on the writings of St. Augustine and taught by Dr. Carl Vennerstrom with guest appearances from other faculty members.
