Retreats, Give to the Max Day, and More!

Despite November being lighter on the bulldogCatholic events, the great impact the students have felt should not go unrecognized. This great impact could not have happened without your generosity and prayers! Check out below how the students were transformed this month!

This Month’s Events

Prodigal Son Retreat

November was kicked off with the biennial Prodigal Son Retreat! This 90-attendee retreat consisted of diving deeper into the story of the Prodigal Son, having intentional prayer time, and getting a chance to connect with students of other grades. Going on this retreat allowed the students to walk away with a better understanding of God’s love for them and strengthen friendships. This weekend retreat was so transformative that the students are still talking about the graces they have been receiving from it!

Cribbage Tournament

The student leadership team hosted a cribbage tournament over the course of two weeks. The final game was paired with a Friendsgiving meal, creating the perfect mix of friendly competition and community. The event brought together students who might not normally cross paths, giving everyone a chance to connect, cheer each other on, and share good food. The result was a fun, hype-filled night that strengthened community connections in all the best ways.

Give to the Max Day

Thank you to all of those who have participated in Give to the Max Day! Whether it was through your prayers, donations, or tunning into the livestream, you have made a difference in the ministry of bulldogCatholic! The students are beyond grateful that due to your generous support, they are able to continue to have daily sacrament opportunities, retreats, and fun events. A total of $151,977 was raised to support the immediate operations of bulldogCatholic!

On the Horizon

With Advent coming up, the students are getting excited for the meaningful and festive events to come! Soon after Thanksgiving break, a Teaching Mass is held so that students can really understand what is happening during each part of Mass. Additionally, there will be the annual Christmas Party that allows the students to get together one last time before the end of the semester. Both events allow the students to enter joyfully into the season!

Support the Ministry!

Your generosity helps us offer retreats, outreach events, daily sacraments, annual conferences, and more to college students in the Duluth area. Each of these events work as a bridge to offer the truth of the Gospel message to young adults. Thank you for making that possible!

Another way to support us is through your prayers. Here are some of our intentions we are offering for our ministry this month:

  • For all of the students to trust in the Lord as they are finishing up the last few weeks of the semester.
  • For the students to have a restful and family-filled Thanksgiving break.
  • So that the students draw closer to Christ this upcoming Advent season.
