Welcome Week 2026

We can’t wait to meet you! Welcome Week is a week full of events and opportunities to get connected to UMD to prepare you for your arrival on campus. Why not meet your new church family while you’re at it?! We’ll be hosting plenty of fun events and ways to plug in, meet people, and jump into something good right from the start. We’ll be offering daily Mass and adoration through most of the week, and we’d love to see you at our big outdoor Sunday Mass.

In past years, we’ve had super fun events like our legendary Chicken Party, Bingo/Singo, Spikeball and Watermelon, and Mass at the Cathedral (with Dilly Bars after! 🍦). Who knows, maybe something new is to come this year!

These events are built to get you connected fast, so don’t sweat it if you don’t know anyone yet — most of your future friends are in the same boat!
