Celebrating the Year at bulldogCatholic!

As summer begins in Duluth, we are filled with gratitude for how God moved in the lives of students at UMD this year! Because of your prayers and support, they encountered Christ in ways both profound and joy-filled. Here’s a glimpse of what your generosity has made possible this month.

Events from This Month

Student Appreciation Dinner

We kicked off the month with our Student Appreciation Dinner, where we had the joy of celebrating the students who have generously poured themselves out in service throughout the year. From Mass Ministry and Music Ministry to Commissioned Discipleship, Leadership Team, and beyond, these students have helped build a vibrant community rooted in faith and friendship. We also took time to honor our graduating seniors and thank them for the witness they have been to our ministry.

Closing Bonfire

Before students headed home for the summer, we gathered one final time around the fire for our annual closing bonfire. The evening was filled with laughter, peanut butter s’mores, and meaningful moments with friends before summer break began. It was a beautiful reminder of the Christ-centered friendships that have formed throughout the year.

Baccalaureate Mass & BBQ

We closed out the academic year with our Baccalaureate Mass and Barbecue, a special evening dedicated to celebrating our graduating seniors. Surrounded by family, friends, and our ministry community, we prayed with them as they prepare for the next chapter after graduation. It was a blessed time of gratitude, joyful celebration, and delicious OMC Barbecue.

Support the Ministry!

Your generosity helps us offer retreats, outreach events, daily sacraments, annual conferences, and more to college students in the Duluth area. Each of these events work as a bridge to offer the truth of the Gospel message to young adults. Thank you for making that possible!

Another way to support us is through your prayers. Here are some of our intentions we are offering for our ministry this month:

  • For all of the students on summer break, that they may stay close to Jesus while away from their Duluth community.
  • For all of the graduating seniors as they transition into their next seasons of life.
  • For the graduates who have said yes to being full-time missionaries, that they trust in God’s provision for their lives and those they will encounter.
