Expected Graduation: Spring of 2027

Major: Biology

What’s your major and your expected graduation?
I am majoring in biology and minoring in music, and I plan to graduate in the spring of 2027.

What are your hobbies/interests?
I am interested in all things music, especially playing the piano and singing. I also enjoy reading and being in the kitchen, whether that be cooking or baking. I love exercising and being outdoors, especially figure skating in the winter.

What is your favorite part about being a part of the BulldogCatholic community?
I love how everyone is devoted to not only deepening their faith, but inviting others in to do the same, while also having tons of fun.

Why did you choose UMD for college?
I chose UMD for many reasons, including its proximity to my home, the community and outdoor opportunities, and also because they have a medical school, which is one of my goals.

Why should someone come to a Bulldog Catholic event?
People should come to Bulldog Catholic events, for one, because they usually include lots of delicious food, but also, because at every event there are opportunities to either grow deeper in or learn more about the faith, have fun, and usually it’s both.

What would you tell a high school senior looking for the right college?
I would tell them to not stress too much over finding “the perfect” school. Sometimes it takes time to really feel at home in a new place, it won’t always happen on a 30 minute tour and often times, multiple colleges will be the right fit and all valid options.

What is the biggest lesson that you have learned while in college?
I have learned the importance of creating healthy and sustainable daily habits. One example of this that has helped me the most is staying on top of the material in class so that when exams came around I did not feel the need to cram.

Who is your favorite Saint and quote from them?
“The good God does not need years to accomplish His work of love in a soul; one ray from His heart can, in an instant, make His flower bloom for eternity.”
-St. Therese of Lisieux

What is your “go to” activity to do with your crew?
Game night is our go to activity. 90% of the time I can be found playing bananagrams, but the other 10% includes playing any and all games, especially those that require speed and logic.

Where is your dream vacation spot? Why?
My dream vacation spot is Alaska. I love all things having to do with National Parks and hiking and Alaska is filled with plenty of nature and wildlife to explore.

What’s the most useless talent you have?
I can do the worm forward and backward, which does come in handy in every dance circle ever, so I guess you can be the judge of whether or not it’s actually useless.
