Homily from the Twenty-first Sunday in Ordinary Time.
‘But Jesus, when you are gone, who is really in charge? Who has all of the authority as You when You’re gone?’ There is no question right now. Because Jesus said, ‘Peter, you have the keys. When I am gone, what you say, it goes. It is a real authority, you are a real father, what you bind on earth is bound in Heaven, what you loose on earth is loosed in Heaven. And when I’m gone, continuing to fight for you, someone’s in charge.'”
