Homily from the Commemoration of All the Faithful Departed (All Souls).

“So I am on the phone, ‘Yes, Subaru people, thy will be done.’ Because that’s the key: ‘You’re the expert, and I don’t know [what to do], so whatever you need to do, just go ahead and do it.’ And that’s what we say to the Father, that should be our core prayer: ‘God, what do You want me to do? Let me do that.’ If that’s your prayer, you are on the right track. If that’s not your prayer yet, it’s a really, really good place to start. The reality is, we have to start. Because if we want God’s Kingdom to come, if we want His Will to be done, that means it has to be done here first in us first.”
