Kodaline is an indie/folk rock band from Ireland. A friend introduced me to them last year during finals week; I instantly loved their sound, and the song’s buoyant beat got me through the drudgery of late-night study sessions. “Love Like This” is my favorite of their songs because its upbeat, fun instrumentalization makes the listener want to dance, while at the same time evokes wonder at the meaning behind the lyrics–is it a happy song, or sad, or some mix of both? I never get tired of jamming out to this song, whatever mood I’m in!
