Wrapping Up a Great Semester!

Fall semester has officially come to an end. Many students are back home with their family awaiting the joy of Christmas! Even with the busyness of the end of the semester, there were still many events and activities on the schedule.

Highlights:

  • Service Saturday – 25 students traveled to the Twin Cities to spend a day packing meals at Feed My Starving Children.
  • Advent Reconciliation Service – 9 priests heard the confessions of many students after Sunday Mass.
  • Teaching Mass – In conjunction with RCIA, the Teaching Mass was an opportunity to get a “behind the scenes” look at everything that happens during the Mass.
  • Alumni Christmas Party – Many generations of former Newman students came for the Alumni Christmas Party. It is safe to say, they turned up the heat for another night of trivia!

Annual Student Christmas Party!

Just before finals week, all the bulldogCatholic students came together for the Annual Student Christmas Party! With ugly sweaters and delicious appetizers, there was plenty of celebrating. The evening was topped off with trivia and a variety show! The show offered students reciting poetry, acting out a puppet show, playing the dueling pianos, building a human pyramid, and more. Truly, it was our most variety-filled show yet!
