Spring Break Mission Trips with FOCUS
Lima, Peru
26 students traveled to the Pamplona District of Lima, Peru to build stairs for locals to have access to resources. They also built relationships through home visits, playing with children, & praying with locals.
“Traveling to Peru for mission was a life-changing experience. The community of Pamplona is often forgotten. We accompanied them for a week, reminding them that God loves them endlessly. We accomplished this through prayer and joy. One of my favorite memories was praying the rosary in Spanish with a large group of the neighbors.” – Andrew Walz
Christ in the City – Denver, CO
The students spent the week serving the homeless and being trained in street ministry. They prayed with the homeless and served them in corporal works of mercy.
“Over Spring Break, I had the opportunity to be sent out on Mission to Christ In The City in Denver, Colorado. The trip truly captivated what it means to be called God’s friend; to serve others and not to be served. We searched for those who had been abandoned and sought to remind them that they are loved and God has not left them.” – Holly Norha
