Closing Bonfire
There are a few things more iconic at UMD Newman than the annual closing bonfire. The students come together to celebrate yet another wonderful year! It is an evening of “goodbye’s” and “see you later’s” before launching into summer.

On May 6, 2023, we said goodbye to some of the most incredible students. To commemorate our graduates, we celebrated our students and their families with a Baccalaureate Mass and barbecue.
