Homily from the Seventeenth Sunday in Ordinary Time, given at the Steubenville On the Lake Youth Conference.
Jesus promised that the father would send the Holy Spirit to anyone who asks. But that gift would be wasted on anyone who had no plans to use the gift. Have I set up my life so as to use the gift of the Father, or is my environment oriented towards my losing the gift?
